Beforechecktheengineoil,warmup
theenginetonormalwatertempera鄄
tureandparkthevehicleonaflat
ground.Turnofftheengineandwait
forseveralminutes.Pullouttheoil
stick,wipeofftheoil,andinsertthe
oilstickagainandthenpullitouta鄄
gain.Recordthefinaloillevelonthe
stick.Thelevelshouldbebetween
thefull("F")andlow("L")positions.

thepiston,pistonringandcylinder.
Whenthepistonisatthebottomof
cylinder,afilmofgasolineisformed
intheupperpartofthecylinder.
Whengasolineissuckedintothe
combustionchamberbytheengine,
averypowerfulnegativepressure
willbeproduced.Duringcombus鄄
tion,thegasolineand engine oil
combustwiththeaidofhightemper鄄
aturecombustinggas.

consumption, engine speed and
drivingstatus.Highdrivingspeed
andfrequentaccelerationandde鄄
celerationwillincreasetheoilcon鄄

Replaceengineoilandfilter
Replacetheengineoilandfilteras
perthemaintenanceschedule.Ifthe
statusofvehicleisinasevereenvi鄄
ronment,theserviceperiodofengine
oilandfiltershouldbeshortened.
Followingistherelevantprocedure
forengineoilandfilterreplacement:
1.Parkthevehicleonalevelground
andapplytheparkingbrake.Start
theenginetoallowittoreachthe
normalwatertemperature.Turnoff
theengineandsettheshiftleverat
reversegear (manualtransmission).
Theparkingbrakeisappliedcon鄄
currentlyatthistime.
2.Opentheenginecoverandun鄄
screwtheengineoilfillingportcap.
3.Gounderthevehicleandturnan鄄
ti-clockwiseandloosenthedrain
plugwithaspanner.Determinethe
