Replacesparkplug
Youwillfinditveryeasytoreplace
thesparkplugswiththeenginecold.
Replacethesparkplugsonebyone,
toavoidconfusingthewires.
1.Removetheintermediatecoverof
theengineswinghood.
2.Cleanthedirtdepositedaround
thesparkplugwithapieceofclean
cloth,topreventdirtfromentering
thecylinderwhenthesparkplugis
removed.
3.ToremovetheHVwire,pullout
theconnectordirectlyinsteadofthe
cable.Pullingoutthecablemay
damagethecarboncoredconductor.
4.Operatethespannerontheupper
partofthesparkplugtoremovean
oldsparkplug,andneverdamage
theceramicinsulator.
5.Turnthespanneranti-clockwiseto
removeanoldsparkplug.
6.Toinstallanewsparkplug,oper鄄
atethespannerontheupperpartof
thesparkplugandneverdamage
theceramicinsulator.
7.Pushtheisolatedconnectoronto
thepole,andreplacetheHVwire.
Check theHV wire for complete
breakingandneverdropaHVwire.
Replaceairfilter
Note:
音 Itisrecommendedtohavethe
authorizedJACdealerreplacethe
sparkplugs.
Note:
音 Thesparkplugshouldbefully
fastened.Excessivetighteningmay
damagethealuminumalloycylin鄄
derhead.Also,loosesparkplug
cancauseoverheatingofspark
pluganddamagetheengine.

1.Parkthevehicleonalevelground,
applytheparkingbrakeandopen
thecoolingliquidtankcap.
2.Getadraincontainerandopen
thedraintapofthecoolingliquid
tank.Afterallcoolingliquidhasbeen
drained,tightenthedraintap.
3.Refertorelevantinstructionsfor
detailsaboutthevolumeofcooling
systemofyourvehicle.Addappro鄄
priateamountofcoolingliquidasper
themanufacturerinstructions.Now
adddemineralizedwateruntilittops
uptothefillingportofthecoolingliq鄄
uidtank.
4.Starttheenginewiththewater
tankcapopened.Ifcoolingliquid
needstobeadded,addtheliquid.
5.Checkandclosethewatertank
andthetankcap,andcheckthatthe
draintaphasbeencompletelyclosed.
Replacesparkplug
Thesparkplugmustbereplacedas
pertheperiodrequiredinthemainte鄄
nanceschedule,orwhentheengine
performancerequiressuchreplace鄄
ment.Tracesofunqualifiedspark
plugsinstalledincludeenginefirein鄄
terruptionduringdriving,increased
fuelconsumption,andslowacceler鄄
ation.Usethesparkplugsrecom鄄
mendedbyJACdealerforreplace鄄
mentofsparkplugs.Usingother
sparkplugsmaydeterioratetheve鄄
hicleperformance,interferewithradio
frequencyordamagetheengine.
Caution:
音 The engine cooling liquid
maydamagetheprotectionlay鄄
erofyourvehicle.Ifithasbeen
spilledontothevehicle,washit
withcleanwater.
Note:
音 Pureandqualifiedpartsmust
be used for replacing spark
plugs.
