WORLD TIME AND FAVOURED TIME ZONE

Your Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Geographic
WT watch also features an ingenious system
of world time display that can tell the time
simultaneously in 24 cities in the world.
The simultaneous reading of the time in the
world's 24 time-zones is possible thanks to the
combination of the city disc and the 24-hour
turning ring.
Additionally, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris
Geographic WT makes it possible to read the
time, on the small dial at 6 o’clock, of a given
city corresponding to one of the 24 time zones
(the favoured time zone). The wearer selects
it by turning the city disc and positioning the
city of the favoured time zone opposite the
triangular marker at 6 o’clock. The time of the
favoured time zone thus appears twice: once
on the small dial located at six o’clock, as well
as on the 24-hour ring, which makes it possible
to know whether it is day or night.
