• Do not connect the appliance before making sure the plug
has an adequate earth base.
• Don’t allow children play with the appliance. Keep the
appliance out of the reach of children.
• Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of
children less than 8 years old.
• Do not touch the hot surfaces while in use.
• Before using your coffee maker for the first time, make it
work only with water a couple of times to clean out the
system completely.
• Never use the jug on an electric or gas cooker, nor in a
microwave, do not use it when it has a fissure.
Avoid placing the jug on a cold or wet surface.
• Never put coffee or other liquids but cold water in the tank.
• VERY IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the appliance
in water or other liquids.
This appliance is designed for domestic use only.
The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be
done by children without any supervision, unless they are
over 8 years and they are under supervision.
• If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by an
Authorised Service Centre.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Open the lid (6).
• Add the desired amount of coffee in the filter (9) using a spoon.
• Do not put too much coffee in the filter (9) and never press the coffee down. The water may
overflow.
• To obtain a stronger or milder coffee, adjust the amount of coffee in the filter to taste.
• Pour cold water into the tank (5) according to the number of coffee cups you are preparing. The
marks of the water level (7) will give you an estimated quantity.
• Close the lid, place the jug on the hot plate (3) and plug the appliance into the mains.
IMPORTANT: be sure that the lid is correctly closed by pressing in its frontal side. If not,
the anti-drip system could get obstructed and the coffee may overflow from the filter
holder.
• Press the switch (2) to the “on “ position I.
• The coffee will begin to flow in a short time.
