Itisalsoadvisabletoboilitifyouaregoingtogivethewatertobabiesandcertaingroupsofimpaired
immunitypeople.
• Keepthelteredsystemawayformthesunlightandheatsources.
• Ifyouarenotgoingtousethelterforalongtimewerecommendyoutoplacethelterinaplasticbag
stored in the fridge.
• Thelifetimeofthelterdependsonlocalwaterqualityandhardwaterareas.Thatmeansanestimated

• Takeoutthelidandremovethelterholder(5).Cleanthejugandthelterholder.
Follow the next steps to place the lter:
1.Removethepackagingofthelter.
2.Insert the lter into a sink with water during 20 minutes and shake it. Some loose carbon
particlesmaybereleasedduringthisprocess.Thisisnormalanddoesnotaecttothecorrect
lterfunctioning.
3.Placethelterinthelterholderandpressitslightly.
4.Placetheholderwiththelterinthejugandpoorwater.Thelteredwatermustnotgoupover
thejugMAXindication.Discardthelteredwaterofthetworstllings.Dependingofthequality
andhardwaterareas,itcouldberequiredoneormorellings.
5.Afterthatyoucanllthejug.Theltersystemisreadyforusing.
