This document describes the Jata JVAC2002 portable air conditioner, a device designed for domestic use to provide cooling and humidification.
Function Description
The Jata JVAC2002 is a portable air conditioner that functions as a fan, cooler, and humidifier. It is designed to improve air quality and comfort in indoor environments. The device operates by drawing in air, passing it through a filter, and then, when the cooling function is activated, circulating it over a water reservoir and a cold accumulator to release cooler, humidified air. The air outlet can be adjusted vertically to direct the airflow.

- Structure (1): The main body of the device.
- Wheels (2): Four wheels for easy portability.

- Control Panel (4): Located on the top of the device, it features buttons for various functions and indicators.
- Remote Control (5): Allows for convenient operation from a distance of up to 10 meters. It uses two LR03 (AAA) batteries.
- Air Inlet Filter (6): Filters incoming air, removing dust and particles.
- Air Outlet (7): Where the cooled and humidified air is expelled. Its vertical direction can be adjusted.
- Water Level Indicator (8): Shows the current water level in the tank.
- Water Passage Container (9): An additional container for pouring water, contributing to the humidification process.
- Cold Accumulator (10): Two cold accumulators are included. These contain a powder that turns into gel when water is added. They should be pre-chilled in a freezer before use to enhance the cooling effect.
Usage Features
The JVAC2002 offers several operational modes and settings, controllable via both the integrated control panel and the remote control.
Control Panel Functions (also available on remote control):
- A. ON/OFF Button (Power): Turns the fan on and off.
- B. Speed Regulator (Fan Speed): Allows selection of desired fan speed (minimum, medium, maximum).
- C. Timer: Sets the operating time for the device. It can be programmed for up to 12 hours by pressing the button consecutively to select the desired duration.
- D. Mode: Activates a program with changing fan speeds, providing varied airflow.
- E. Cooler (Cooling/Humidification Function): When pressed, the water pump draws water from the tank and circulates it over the filter (6). This results in cooler and more humid air being expelled. For enhanced cooling, pre-chilled cold accumulators (10) can be placed in the water passage container (9) or directly in the water tank (3), ensuring the water level remains between MIN and MAX.
- F. Automatic Oscillation: Activates the oscillation function, causing the air outlet to swing horizontally to distribute air more widely.
General Usage Guidelines:
- Placement: Always place the device on a flat and stable surface.
- Water Filling: To humidify the environment, introduce cold water into the water tank (3). Water can also be poured through the water passage container (9).
- Cold Accumulators: For cooling, fill the included cold accumulators with water (they contain a powder that gels), freeze them, and then place them in the water tank or water passage container.
- Power Connection: Ensure the voltage indicated on the device's rating plate matches your household's voltage before plugging it in.
- Safety:
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Keep plastic bags and packaging materials away from children.
- Do not insert fingers or any objects into the air outlet grilles to avoid blocking the motor.
- Ensure the device and its cable are not in contact with hot surfaces or objects.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only.
- Children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, can use the appliance if they have been given appropriate supervision or instruction concerning safe use and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance.
- Any manipulation or replacement of components should be performed by an Authorized Technical Service.
- If the power cord or any component is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service, or similarly qualified personnel to avoid hazards.
- Do not use outdoors.
Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of the JVAC2002.
- Cleaning:
- Always unplug the device from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Clean the device with a slightly damp cloth.
- It is crucial to keep the front grille and the air inlet filter (6) clean and free of dust or lint, which can easily accumulate. It is recommended to clean the filter once a month.
- Do not use chemical or abrasive products, metallic scouring pads, or similar items that could damage the surfaces.
Environmental Protection:
- When disposing of the appliance, consumers should take it to a designated waste collection center or container for proper treatment.
- Never dispose of the appliance with household waste. This contributes to the protection and improvement of the environment.

Warranty Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover:
- Breakages or faults caused by drops.
- Loss of accessories or parts.
- Incorrect installation.
- Total or partial manipulation of the product by personnel other than JATA's Technical Services.
- Force majeure events unrelated to JATA (geological phenomena, disturbances, non-domestic use, etc.).
- Components and accessories subject to wear and tear from use, such as plastic compounds, rubber, glass, lamps, paper, filters, enamels, paints, or coatings deteriorated by improper use or reaction to agents like heat, water, or external chemical products.
- Faults in plugs, cables, or connectors due to misuse, or sulfation of battery contacts due to deterioration.
- Adjustment and cleaning operations explained in the instruction manual and necessary for the proper functioning of the appliance.
