L.P.-gas
(liquid
Petroleum) is
a
material
composed
of
various
hydrocarbons such
as
propane,
propylene,
butanes,
butylenes,
or
a
mixture
of
them.
In
its
gaseous
form

and
carries
an
added
garlic-like
odor
for
detection.
Besides being
flammable,
it
is
potentially
lethal

L.P.-gas
is
conspressed
into
liquid
for
storage
and

The L.P.-gas
tank
mounted
on
ilubir
vehicle
contains
L.P.-fuel
in
liquid
form
under
pressure.

top
of
the
tank
through
a
dual-stage
repiator
which
reduces
the
pressure
to
about
6

ounces
per
square
inch.
Vapor
at
the
low
pressure

then
transferred
through
the
gas
distribution
lines
for
appliance
we.

must
keep
the
regulator
clean
and
dry.
Its
cover
shulild
remain
in
place,
and
its
vent
placed
according
to
the
ruanufacte~m-'s
instructions.
