  • Warranty: 2-year Limited Warranty for Jayco North Point and Pinnacle brand recreational vehicles.
  • Exit Windows: Serve as secondary means of escape, easily identified by red latches and labels. Available in "Flip latch style" (push up on latch to unhook) and "Slider window latch style" (pull lever down, slide window).
  • Fire Extinguisher: Dry chemical type, suitable for Class B (flammable liquids) or Class C (electrical) fires. Located by the entrance door. Not rechargeable or refillable.
  • Combination Carbon Monoxide/Propane Alarm: Wired to the 12-volt electrical system, with continuous power from RV batteries. No 9-volt battery supply. Designed to detect toxic carbon monoxide fumes and propane gas.
    • Normal operation: Steady green LED.
    • CO alarm: Red LED steady, 4 "BEEPS" then silent for 5 seconds.
    • Propane gas alarm: Red LED flash, steady tone.
    • Malfunction/low battery: Gas LED off, Operational/CO LED alternates red/green, alarm sounds every 15 seconds.
    • End of life: LED flashes red/red, green/green, alarm "BEEP" every 25-30 seconds.
  • Weight Terms:
    • GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating): Load-carrying capacity of a single axle system.
    • GCWR (Gross Combined Weight Rating): Maximum allowable loaded weight of the trailer, including full propane cylinders, water, and generator fuel.
    • GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating): Maximum permissible weight of the fully loaded trailer.
    • OCCC (Occupant And Cargo Carrying Capacity): GVWR minus weight of trailer (factory completed), personal cargo, full propane, and potable water.
    • UVW (Unloaded Vehicle Weight): Weight of trailer as manufactured with full propane.
  • Fifth Wheel Pin Box: Hitch rating should be equal to or greater than RV's GVWR and pin box rating.
  • Wire Harness/Connector Plug (7-way): Connects electrical power for RV brakes, taillights, clearance lights, turn signals, brake lights. RV brake wiring is 12-gauge.

  • Spare Tire Carrier: Maximum load capacity of 100 lbs for hoist.
  • Patio Deck (Side): Maximum capacity 10 people, 1800 lbs (816 Kg) with evenly distributed load.
  • Power Awnings: 12V motorized. Carefree® Longitude Awnings have scissor-style arms, 6-position pitch adjustment, worm gear driver motor.
  • Electric Slide Room(s): Gear driven, with manual override. Requires sufficient power (fully charged auxiliary battery, 120-volt AC power if possible). Travel time approx. 25 seconds.
  • Schwintek In-Wall Slideout System: Two vertical columns with drive motors, synchronized by a circuit board. Requires minimum 30-amp fuse.
  • Power Gear Slim Rack Slideout System: 12VDC electric motor. Controller with programmable stops and fault detection.
  • Power Gear Ram Slideout System: 3/4” hex override couplers.
  • Electrical System (12-volt DC & 120-volt 60hz AC): Designed to comply with industry standards.
  • 12-Volt DC Outlet: Max 60 watts (5 amps).
  • Auxiliary Battery: Group 27, deep cycle battery recommended.
  • Power Converter: Converts 120-volt AC to 12-volt DC. Has built-in thermal breaker. Modes: Absorption (13.6VDC), Float Trickle (13.2VDC), Boost (14.4VDC).
  • 120-Volt (50 AMP) AC System: Powered by outside 120/240-volt 60hz utility service or generator. Designed for 2 legs of 120-volt power at max 50 amps per leg.
  • Generator: Produces 120-volt AC power. Recommended to run at minimum 50% capacity for 2 hours every four weeks.
  • Solar Prep: Exterior plug for trickle charging batteries with a freestanding solar panel.
  • Water Heater (Tank DSI): Magnesium or aluminum anode rod for tank protection. Thermostat preset to 130°F (54°C).
  • Tankless (On Demand) Water Heater: Uses LP gas, provides unlimited hot water on demand. Not affected by high altitudes.
  • Macerator Pump System: 1-1/2 inch diameter flexible hose, discharges waste up to 150 feet (uphill if necessary).
  • Black Tank Flush: Inlet for garden hose to spray and clean black tank.
  • Tank Heaters: 120VAC for large tanks, +12VDC for water/drain lines. Thermostat controlled (ON at 44°F/7°C, OFF at 64°F/18°C).
  • Air Conditioner: Thermostat controlled.
  • Furnace: 12-volt DC thermostat controlled. Requires 12-volt power and propane gas.
  • Ceiling Fan: 3-speed, with direction control (pull chain switch).
  • Microwave: 120-volt power.
  • Cooktops/Range/Oven: Gas Drop-In Cooktops (2-burner 6500 BTU/H, 3-burner 9000 BTU/H front, 5200 BTU/H rear). Electric Drop-In Cooktops (120-volt power).
  • Gas BBQ Grill: Max weight limit for bracket 50 lbs.
  • Refrigerator: 3-way (12VDC, LP GAS, 120VAC) or residential (120VAC).
  • Washer/Dryer Prep: Designed for electric dryer operation only.
  • Central Vacuum System: 120-volt AC power. Disposable bag in exterior cargo compartment.
  • Exterior Ladder: Max weight rating 300 lbs (136 kg).

  • Emergency Warranty Repair: Call 1-(800)-283-8267 or use website dealer locator. Provide VIN, purchase date, description of concern.
  • Safety Alerts: Clearly marked with NOTE, CAUTION, WARNING, and DANGER symbols.
  • Exit Window Operation: Practice opening for emergencies.
  • Fire Safety: Call 911, evacuate, check fire, do not use water on electrical/fuel fires.
  • CO/Propane Alarm: Test weekly, replace battery (9V) when low, replace unit after five years.
  • Extended/Full Time Usage: RV not intended for full-time residence; continuous living may void warranty.
  • Cold Weather Usage: Prepare fresh water/drainage systems, ensure sufficient propane/power for furnace, ventilate to reduce condensation, check for frozen moisture.
  • Loading: Distribute cargo evenly, secure heavy objects low. Do not exceed GAWR or GVWR. Do not travel with full grey/black tanks.
  • Fifth Wheel Hitching: Block wheels, adjust pin to proper height, back truck to hitch, secure lever, "bump" hitch to lock, raise landing gear, attach breakaway cable, plug wire harness, remove chocks.
  • Towing: Drive cautiously, allow more time for passing, slow down for bumps, use lower gear on hills, check road clearance for turns.
  • RV Brake System: Allow 1,000 miles or 50 stops for break-in.
  • Breakaway Switch: Attach lanyard to tow vehicle. Requires customer-supplied battery.
  • Hydraulic Brakes: Pull forward slightly and move lever to "backup position" for uphill backing.
  • Wheel Lugs: Check torque periodically (after first trip, winter storage, wheel removal, before trip, after braking).
  • Stowable Entrance Door Step(s): Open door, twist handle to release, lower steps, adjust feet. For storage, fold handrail, retract feet, lift steps to latch.
  • Rear Backup Camera Prep: Pre-wired for customer-supplied camera. Switch in bedroom or command center.
  • Campsite Hook-Up: Connect shore power, open LP gas slowly, connect water supply, connect sewer hose, start refrigerator/cooling/heating.
  • LCI 3.0 Leveling System: Auto Leveling Touch Pad (outside), MyRV® OneControl Touch Panel (inside), MyRV® OneControl Leveling App, Linc® Remote Control (optional).
    • Unhitching: Park on level ground, chock tires, extend landing gear, lift RV front, uncouple, pull tow vehicle away.
    • Auto Leveling: Turn on touchpad, select AUTO LEVEL, system levels RV.
  • Awnings: Retract in wind/rain or when unattended.
  • Electric Patio Awning: Requires 120-volt power. Some have motion detectors for automatic retraction.
  • Power Awnings: Single switch operation.
  • Slideout Systems: Level RV before operation. Ensure path is clear. Do not place excessive weight.
  • Schwintek In-Wall Slideout System: Manual override by pressing "mode button" six times quickly, then hold seventh for 5 seconds.
  • Norco Slideout System: Manual override using electric drill and flexible shaft.
  • Power Gear Slideout System: Manual override by turning Main Power OFF, unplugging wiring harness/motor lead, rotating brake lever, cranking room in/out.
  • Electrical System: Disconnect power sources before working on system.
  • Command Center: Controls various electrical functions, including lights, generator, leveling, slideouts, awnings, tank levels.
  • GFCI Receptacle: Test monthly.
  • Wi-Fi Operation of One Control® System: Download app, connect to MyRV wireless network (password on RV's wireless hub), enter PIN.
  • Dry Camping: Manage resources, check battery voltage.
  • Battery Disconnect Switch: Shuts off 12VDC power to main fuse panel.
  • Generator: Start/stop from command center or touchscreens. Warm up engine for 2 minutes before using 120-volt appliances.
  • Solar Prep: Plug in solar panel to charge batteries.
  • Water Heater: Fill with water before use. Turn OFF power before draining.
  • Propane Gas System: Close main shut-off valve before refueling. Check for leaks periodically.
  • Sanitizing Plumbing System: Use chlorine solution, fill tank, run through faucets, drain, rinse.
  • Winterizing Plumbing System: Use RV antifreeze or air pressure method. Bypass water heater. Drain all lines.
  • Macerator Pump System: Use to discharge waste. Manual bypass valve for gravity dump.
  • Black Tank Flush: Use garden hose to flush black tank.
  • Tank Heaters: Turn ON when liquid present and temperatures below 35°F (2°C).
  • Outside Shower: Use for outdoor rinsing. Close faucet knobs to stop flow.
  • Faucets: Ensure water pump is ON if not hooked to city water.
  • Bathroom Tub/Shower: Use RV approved deodorizing agent for waste tanks.
  • HDTV Antenna: Rotates 360° for best signal. Fixed height.
  • Exterior Sliding/Pivoting TV: Pull yellow lever to release, slide out, pull T-handle to pivot.
  • Interior Cleaning: Use mild soap/detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Furniture Upholstery: Vacuum regularly.
  • Window Shades: Vacuum periodically.
  • Bed Storage: Lift end ledge to access.

  • Obtaining Service: Contact dealer first, provide written list of repairs, inspect work.
  • Obtaining Service at Jayco Facility: Confirm appointment 60 days prior, empty/rinse holding tanks, shut off propane/electrical systems, winterize RV (if applicable), remove personal items, owner responsible for transportation costs.
  • Parts and Accessories: Contact authorized dealer.
  • Fire Extinguisher: Inspect weekly.
  • CO/Propane Alarm: Vacuum cover yearly, clean with damp cloth.
  • Electrical System: Inspect power cord for cuts/cracks.
  • Inverter: Keep cooling fins/fan clear of obstructions.
  • Power Converter: Keep cooling fins/fan clear. Check reverse polarity fuse(s).
