      Distortion at high volume can be normal when the amplifier reaches its maximum power output. If distortion occurs at lower volumes, inspect the loudspeaker wiring, ensuring the front loudspeaker ground is not connected to the rear speaker ground. A faulty loudspeaker could also be the cause. The power and ground wire's gauge might be too small, so using a 10amp cable or more may help. Additionally, try reducing the bass effect or switching off the loudness mode. A faulty boat battery or charging circuit can also cause distorted audio.
