ROPS (Roll Over Protection Structure)
Machines are designed to comply with ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structure) standards 2009/75/EC.
The following cab identification is installed behind a service panel. Refer to Figure 13.

FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure)
WARNING Do not use the machine if the falling objects protection level provided by the structure is not
sufficient for the application. Falling objects can cause serious injury.
Front end loader (Agriculture): If the loader is being used for agricultural applications where there is a risk of
falling objects, a FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) (Level 1 as per ISO (International Organization for
Standardization) 3449) is available. Consult your JCB dealer for advice.
Forestry: The intended use of the tractor in forestry applications is limited to where normal operation does not
present a risk of falling, penetrating objects, toppling trees, work on the rough terrain, and steep slope.
FOPS is not designed to be suitable for specialist Forestry applications, for example forwarding or loading. Any
forestry application that presents a risk of falling or penetrating objects require further protection systems.
Contact your JCB dealer for further information relating to mounting of the approved FOPS equipment.
Penetrating Objects
The cab glazing provides only limited protection against penetrating objects. If there is a risk of penetrating
objects, then additional protective window guards or anti-shatter glass film should be fitted. Consult your JCB
dealer for advice.
