Overview

The JIESUDA® N9 Body Worn Camera is a professional mini-type law enforcement recorder designed for various applications, including public security, police work, urban management, and forensics in industrial, commercial, taxation, customs, maritime, health, environmental protection, and outdoor settings. It offers stable performance, excellent quality, a small size, and an ergonomic design for easy operation and portability.

Function Description

The N9 camera is capable of restoring video, photos, and audio related to law enforcement activities. It features several operational modes and functions to enhance its utility:

  • Video Recording: Users can initiate video recording directly from a power-off state in emergency situations by long-pressing the "Recording" button. In standby mode, a short press of the "Record" button starts and stops recording. The recorded video is saved in segments, with configurable durations of 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes. A maximum of 15 minutes is advised to minimize the risk of losing video data.
  • Photo Capture: A short press of the "Photo" button in standby mode takes a photo. During video recording, a short press captures a single snapshot image. Images are saved automatically upon pressing the button.
  • Audio Recording: In standby mode, a short press of the "Audio" button starts and stops audio recording, saving the audio file. From a power-off state, a long press of the "Audio" button for 3 seconds will boot the camera and automatically begin audio recording. A subsequent short press stops and saves the audio file.
  • Night Vision: The camera supports infrared (IR) night vision, which can be turned on or off by a short press of the "Down" button.
  • Motion Detection: This feature allows the camera to automatically start recording when movement is detected in front of the lens (within 1 meter) and stop when the movement ceases. This helps conserve memory and power.
  • Car Record (Vehicle Mode): When enabled, this function allows the camera to begin recording video automatically as soon as it powers on, making it suitable for use while driving. It is important not to use this function while charging, as it may prevent the camera from fully charging.
  • Stealth Mode: This mode disables indicator light flashes and button sounds during recording, enabling hidden recording.
  • Red-Blue Light Flashing Warning: This warning function can be toggled on or off by a long press of the "Up" button in standby mode.
  • Machine ID and Police ID: The camera allows users to edit the machine number and police officer number, which are displayed on the bottom left corner of the screen. The first 5 numbers represent the machine ID, and the subsequent 6 numbers represent the police ID.
  • Password Protection: A password can be set to protect files, although videos can still be transferred to a PC or laptop with the correct password. The default password is "000000".
  • Playback Mode: In standby mode, pressing the "OK" button accesses the playback menu, allowing users to select and view videos, pictures, and audio files using the up and down buttons.
