Usage Features
Preparation Before Use:
- Piling Socket: Install the piling socket. The re-tainer specifications are Max:69mm, Max:100mm, Max:120mm, which are suitable for various pile sizes.
- Fuel: Use qualified gasoline (90# and un-lead gasoline). Fuel should be added in a well-ventilated area, away from open fires. Freshly operated gasoline should be cooled before refueling. Do not overfill the fuel tank; the oil level should not exceed the neck of the Fuel Tank Filling Port.
- Engine Oil: Before starting, check the engine oil level. The engine has worked for over 10 hours, check the oil level and supplement to the upper limit. Place the engine horizontally, turn off the oil scale, and check the liquid level. If the gasoline is insufficient or dirty, replace it. The recommended ambient temperature for the machine is -15℃-40℃.
- Air Filter: Check the air filter regularly. Clean or replace if dirty.
Starting the Machine:
- Press the transparent and semi-circle fuel bubble repeatedly until the carburetor is filled with fuel.
- Set the machine upright. Hold the upper part of the handle tightly with one hand while the other pulls the pulling handle of the starter for over 50cm quickly. Do not let the pulling handle go back freely.
- Start the gasoline engine and then open the damper completely. After idle operation of 5 minutes, start normal work.
- Do not pull the starter handle during operation to avoid starter damage.
Operation:
- After the gasoline engine is started, carry out idle operation for 5 minutes to warm up the machine.
- When the gasoline engine is warmed up, press the throttle handle to the appropriate regulatory position according to the required impact energy.
- The new gasoline pile driver should mainly boast low or medium-speed work for the first 20 hours of operation.
- Operating speed of the gasoline engine should be at medium speed.
- High-speed operation of the pile driver during non-piling is prohibited.
Turning off the Machine:
- Release the throttle handle and carry out idle running of the machine for 3-5 minutes.
- Pull the Stop Switch to the position of flameout.
Safety Operation:
- Wear slip-resistant safety shoes, suitable clothing, goggles, helmet, and earplugs.
- Keep balance while operating; do not stand in front of the Air Filter.
- Do not smoke, eat, or chat during operation.
- After starting, do not carry out one-handed operation.
- When lifting, do not pull the Throttle Switch.
- Stay away from the operating area to avoid injury.
- Select medium speed to operate.
- Keep the handle dry and clean.
- If operation is stopped midway, turn off the engine.
- Check fastening screws frequently.
- Gasoline is highly flammable; refuel in a well-ventilated environment.
- Do not add too much oil.
- After refueling, tighten the oil lid.
- Observe oil in storage areas.
- While pile driver is used in closed areas, ensure normal air circulation.
- Forbid quick acceleration or braking.
- Before transport, empty the fuel tank.
- Non-professional maintenance staff are prohibited from dismounting the pile driver.
Maintenance Features
Regular Maintenance:
- Air Filter: Check regularly. Soot deposit blocking the filter element will reduce power and service life. Clean it with warm water and detergent, then wipe dry. If damaged, replace it. Maintenance cycle should be shortened in dusty environments.
- Fuel Filter: If the fuel filter is blocked, the pile driver will have reduced speed and weaker impact energy. Open the tank lid, get the fuel filter from the fuel tank with a metal hook, and clean it. After cleaning, clean the fuel tank.
- Carburetor: Fuel tank and carburetor generally have residual oil. After some time, the residual oil will become grease oil which blocks up the oil line. Pull out the oil inlet pipe, press the rubber bubble of the Fuel Bubble of the Carburetor repeatedly for oil discharge, and press the oil inlet pipe back to its position when the fuel in the Fuel Bubble and oil return pipe is emptied.
- Spark Plug: To ensure normal operation, the spark plug gap must be proper (0.5-0.7mm). Remove carbon sediment with a wire brush.
- Muffler: Regularly clean dirt on the inlet and outlet of the muffler.
- Cylinder Fin: Regularly remove dust from the heat sink of the cylinder to ensure timely heat dissipation. Ash accumulation on the heat sink will affect the cooling effect and lead to failure of the gasoline engine.
- Engine Oil: Unclean engine oil will lead to reduced service life of engine moving parts. The oil should be regularly replaced and supplemented. Replacement period: at initial use, replace after 10 hours; after that, replace per 6 months or per 50 hours of operation. Release oil when the machine is hot.
- Ensure the fuel tank cap is tightened.
- Place a proper container near the engine to receive the oil scrapped.
- Remove the oil level gauge, turn the engine to the refueling month, and discharge the oil.
- Place the engine horizontally, and add recommended oil to the edge of the refueling month bottom.
- After engine oil discharge, residual oil may exist. Refuel when the residual oil is less than 100ml and slowly refuel to the edge of the refueling month bottom.
- Ambient temperature recommended for the machine is -15℃-40℃. SAE 10W-30 gasoline of SE, SF, SG and equal grade of API is recommended.
- Impact Air Cylinder Lubricating Oil: After the machine has run for cumulatively 50 hours, 50g of special grease shall be refueled to the impact air cylinder.
