Unplug when not in use. Do not leave plugged in. Turn off controls before unplugging.
Do not pull by cord. Grasp plug, not cord, to unplug. Keep cord away from heat and sharp edges.
Do not use outdoors, on wet surfaces, or for flammable liquids. Keep openings clear and body parts away.
Do not allow children to use as a toy. Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Seek service for damaged units.
Use extra care on stairs. Do not pick up burning or smoking items, or hot ashes.
Always operate with dust bag and filter in place. Do not use with any opening blocked.
Do not operate too close to heaters, radiators, or cigarette butts.

Clean filter twice a year or when visibly soiled. Rinse in lukewarm water and dry completely.
Open air outlet cover, take out filter, change for a clean one, and close cover.
