Why JohnnyVac JVC50BC Scrubber machine doesn’t work?
    • F
      fcarterJul 31, 2025
The JohnnyVac Scrubber may not be working due to several reasons: the battery connector might be disconnected (connect the battery), the batteries could be flat (recharge them), or the machine isn't plugged into the power socket (plug it in). Also, check that the brush switch is in the “l” position and that you have pressed the brush lever. If the motor thermal cut-out has tripped, release the brush lever, turn the brush switch to the “O” position, and let the machine cool down for at least 45 minutes. Ensure the power motor supply connector is connected. Check the brush motor fuse and replace it if blown. Finally, make sure the solution tank is full. If not, fill the solution tank. If the reduction unit or the motor is faulty, have them replaced.

      Julie HerreraAug 8, 2025
If the squeegee on your JohnnyVac Scrubber isn't cleaning well, it could be due to several reasons. The rubber blades might be worn and need replacement. The squeegee or hose could be blocked or damaged, requiring unblocking or repair. The float switch inside the recovery tank may have tripped, be clogged, or be broken; in this case, empty the recovery tank or reset the front switch. Check if the suction hose is blocked (unblock it) or disconnected/damaged (connect or repair it). Finally, ensure the suction motor has power and isn't faulty; check the motor power connector and fuse, and replace the motor if necessary.
