Usage Features
- Assembly: The manual provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the bike, including attaching stabilizers, seat posts, handlebars, and pedals. A QR code links to an assembly video on the JOROTO YouTube Channel for visual guidance.
- Pedal Assembly: Specific instructions are given for pedal assembly: the right pedal threads clockwise, and the left pedal threads counter-clockwise. Users are advised to screw pedals in by hand for at least 3 circles before using tools to avoid stripping threads.
- Adjustable Resistance: The Emergency Brake & Tension Control Knob (pt.10) allows users to increase tension (turn right) or decrease tension (turn left), thereby adjusting the resistance level and workout intensity.
- Emergency Brake: The same knob (pt.10) functions as an emergency brake. Pressing it down firmly will stop the bike's flywheel, providing a safety feature for quick stops or dismounting.
- Adjustable Seat Height: The vertical seat post (pt.2) can be adjusted by slackening the spring knob (pt.7), pulling it back, aligning holes for the desired height, and then releasing and retightening the knob.
- Adjustable Seat Position (Forward/Backward): The horizontal seat post can be moved forward or backward by loosening the adjusting knob and washer, pulling the knob back, sliding the post to the desired position, aligning holes, and retightening.
- Adjustable Handlebar Height: The handlebar post (pt.4) height can be adjusted by slackening both the spring knob and secondary knob, pulling them back, sliding the post to the desired height, aligning holes, and then tightening both knobs.
- Exercise Monitor: The monitor displays various workout metrics such as scan, time, speed, distance, odometer, calories, and RPM. It operates on AAA batteries.
- Warm-up Phase: Before exercising, users are advised to perform a warm-up phase, including stretching exercises, to improve blood flow, prepare muscles, and reduce the risk of injury. Stretches should be held for approximately 30 seconds without forcing or jerking muscles.
- Exercise Phase: The exercise phase involves maintaining a steady tempo. The manual includes a heart rate chart to guide users in maintaining an effective workout zone.
- Muscle Toning: To tone muscles, users should increase the resistance level. Higher resistance requires more effort and can lead to increased speed and reduced workout time.
- Weight Loss: For weight loss, the key factor is the amount of effort exerted. Higher intensity workouts burn more calories and improve fitness.
- Use of Tension Control Knob: The tension control knob allows users to alter the resistance of the pedals. A high resistance makes it more difficult to pedal, while a low resistance makes it easier.
Maintenance Features
- Routine Inspection: A routine inspection of the equipment is recommended. Special attention should be paid to components susceptible to wear, such as connecting points and wheels. Defective components should be replaced immediately to maintain the safety level of the equipment. The bike should not be used until repairs are completed.
- Bolt and Connection Checks: All bolts and connections should be checked before the first use and regularly (weekly) to ensure they are tight and the trainer is in a safe and stable condition.
- Cleaning: Abrasive cleaning articles should not be used. Sweat drops should be removed from the machine immediately after training.
- Warranty: All parts come with a 1-year warranty.
- Serial Number: The serial number is located on a label stuck to the rear stabilizer. Users are advised not to tear it off or photograph it before tearing it.
