Making
any changes
to
these may cause
deterioration
in
the
ARPA
performance.
Pseudo targets are
generated
in certain
known
positions
to check
whether
the
ARPA
processing
circuils are operating
normally. Since the
pseudo
targets move
according
to
known
parameters,
the
values
for these
pseudo
targets
can be compared with the known
values
by
acquiring, tracking and
displaying
them,
and thereby checking
whether the ARPA
system
is
operating
normally.
This function should be used
only
in the standby
mode.
