7. Hold the Carving Knife so that your thumb is in the correct position to operate the
Pulse ON/OFF Button
. Bring the Carving Knife to the food and, as the blades
approach the food, press the rear of Pulse ON/OFF Button
and slice the food with
the Blades
& , with a downwards motion.

APPLY ONLY VERY GENTLE PRESSURE AND DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CUT
THROUGH BONES. DO NOT OPERATE FOR MORE THAN ONE MINUTE AT A TIME
AND ALLOW ONE MINUTE BEFORE OPERATING AGAIN.

You might find when slicing bread, it helps to slide the knife backwards slightly as
you cut down.
8. When you have finished carving, switch off at the mains and unplug from the
mains socket.
9. Hold the Blades & using the Blade Finger Guards and hold the Carving Knife
Body
with your other hand.
10. Press the Blade Eject Button and carefully withdraw the Blades & from the
Blade Receptacle
.
Cleaning & Care
■
Ensure the Carving Knife is disconnected from the mains before cleaning.
1. Wipe the Carving Knife Body with a cloth, using liquid detergent and warm water.
■
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY PART OF THE KNIFE BODY IN WATER.
2. Wash the Blades & in liquid detergent and warm water, or in a dishwasher, then
allow to dry.
■
THE BLADES ARE VERY SHARP. TAKE GREAT CARE WHEN HANDLING AND
ALWAYS HOLD USING THE FINGER GUARDS.
■
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or scourers.
■
When the Carving Knife is not in use, store in a dry place, with the Blades &
stored in the Storage Case
for protection.
