Why Jun-Air 87R-4P does not start?
    • A
      amyholderAug 3, 2025
If your Jun-Air Air Compressor doesn't start, there could be several reasons. First, check the circuit breaker at the main power source to ensure there is electrical power. Next, verify the power cord is properly connected at both ends. Also, make sure the system power switch is in the 'on' position. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the fuse might be blown or damaged and needs checking in the electrical inlet. If the power switch is defective, it will need replacement by an authorized dealer.

What to do if circuit breaker trips when Jun-Air Air Compressor starts?
    • R
      Richard FuentesAug 11, 2025
If the circuit breaker trips when your Jun-Air Air Compressor attempts to start, it could be due to several reasons. The voltage might be too low; the compressor requires a minimum of 103 V/207 V, and a buck-boost transformer must be installed if the voltage is below this. Also, the power supply cable might be too small; check the SITE REQUIREMENTS for the correct current draw and select the appropriate wire gauge size. For other potential issues, such as a solenoid valve not opening or loose electrical connections, contact an authorized dealer for service.

How to fix unusual noise in Jun-Air 87R-4P?
    • K
      Kayla Murphy DDSAug 26, 2025
If your Jun-Air Air Compressor is making unusual or excessive noise, consider these potential causes: First, ensure the intake filter is seated correctly; remove and replace the filter if it's clogged or dirty, and make sure the filter chamber is clean. If air leaks are suspected, close the storage-tank outlet valve and check all fittings for leaks. For issues like a noisy compressor or a loose/broken cooling fan, it is recommended to contact an authorized dealer for service.

Why Jun-Air 87R-4P tank pressure does not reach 8 bar?
    • T
      Tina WilliamsNov 17, 2025
If your Jun-Air Air Compressor cycles but the tank pressure doesn't reach 8 bar (116 psi), several factors could be responsible. Start by replacing the intake filter(s) if it is clogged or dirty. Additionally, close the storage-tank outlet valve and check all fittings for leaks. If a leak is detected, contact an authorized dealer for service. If the issue persists, there may be a leak in the device air system. To check this, with the compressor system connected to the device-air system and the regulator valve open, run the compressor until the cut-out pressure is reached and the compressor is switched off, and then close the regulator valve. After five minutes, open the regulator valve and observe the system pressure drop. If the pressure drop exceeds 0.5 bar (7.5 psi), there is a leak in ...
