Removing/installing the blade
CAUTION
Sharp parts can cause injury!
The blade of the slicer is very sharp!
Handle it with care.

1 Remove the blade locking screw G by screwing it
out counter-clockwise.
• INFO: Use a suitable screwdriver or a coin to do this.
The direction of opening is marked on the locking
screw with an arrow (AUF | OPEN | OUVRIR).
2 Remove the blade F carefully.
• It can be reinstalled using the same steps in
reverse order.
• Lubricate the teeth of the blade and the crank
drive with a little cooking oil or fat.
• IMPORTANT: When fitting the plastic ring of the
blade holder, line up the grooves in the ring with
the ribs on the housing.
• IMPORTANT: When re-installing the blade, it is
important to ensure that the teeth of the blade fit
in with the teeth of the crank mechanism.
• Do not overtighten the blade locking screw!
Cutting food
CAUTION
Pay particular attention to the
position of your fingers when
cutting food!
The blade of the slicer is very sharp!
Handle it with care.
• Before using for the first time, thoroughly clean all
parts of the appliance (see section Cleaning).
• Set the desired slice thickness using the adjusting
knob E.
0 - 20 mm

Thinner Thicker
• Using your right hand, turn the crank handle
clockwise.
• With your left hand, place the food to be sliced
against the thickness guide and with light pressure
push it slowly against the turning blade.
Cleaning

NOTE
Dishwasher can cause damage!
The appliance is not dishwasher-safe. Only clean the
appliance using lukewarm water and washing-up
liquid.
• Never immerse the appliance in water and never
hold it under running water.
• Only clean the appliance using a damp cloth.
• Clean the blade thoroughly at regular intervals.
• To ensure that the suction feet have good adhesi-
on, clean them regularly.
Storage
Store the appliance in its original packaging, in a
dry, dust-free and cool place that is out of reach of
children.
