Milling grain
CAUTION
Rotating parts can cause injury!
• Never put your hand into the attachment when the mo-
tor is running.
• The grain mill attachment may only be operated when
it is completely assembled, with the filling hopper A at-
tached.
NOTE Damage as a result of using grains that
are unsuitable for milling!
• Grinding corn will destroy the milling head.
• Only grind oilseeds on a medium setting. Otherwise the
milling head can become clogged.
NOTE Running the mill while empty can cause
damage!
Do not allow the grain mill attachment to run for more
than a few moments when empty. Leaving it run while
empty for any longer can lead to increased wear.
IMPORTANT:
• Only process dry and cleaned grains. Moist grains will
clog the milling head!
• On first use, grind approx. 50 g of grain on a medium
setting. Do not use the flour produced.
• Always let the grain mill attachment run until it is empty,
or empty it completely after use.
• Place a container under the flour outlet.
• To operate the drive unit, see the operating instructions
for the Drive Unit.
• Insert the grains to be processed into the filling hopper
of the attachment in portions.
Cleaning
NOTE Dishwasher can cause damage!
Attachments are not dishwasher-safe.
• Remove the attachment from the drive unit before
cleaning.
• Disassemble the grain mill attachment.
• Only clean the plastic parts using lukewarm water and
washing-up liquid.
• Clean the milling head B inside and outside with only a
dry, hard brush or a scrubber.
• After milling oilseeds, grind some dry grain and then
clean with a brush or a scrubber.
INFO: The milling head need not be cleaned after each use.
When used as intended, it is cleaned by the milling process
itself. However, it should be cleaned at regular intervals
and after a prolonged period of storage.
Storing grains
Store the grains in a jute sack or in an open cardboard box
in a dry place. Alternatively, you can also store the grains in
the deep freezer, in a suitable container or bag.
Storage
Store the appliance in its original packaging, in a dry, dust-
free and cool place that is out of reach of children.
