REMOVING THE OUTSIDE COMPONENTS
DISASSEMBLING/REPLACING EACH COMPONENT

= REMOVING THE DETACHABLE MICRO-
PHONE
Remove the detachable microphone in the direction of
arrow in Fig. 1.
NOTE: Be careful in handling the hood as it tears easily.
= REMOVING THE ELECTRONIC VIEW-
FINDER (EVF)
1, Remove the connector shown in Fig. 2-1.
2. Remove the two screws shown in Fig. 2-2.
3. Demount the EVF by removing the two screws(b)
shown in Fig. 2-3.
2. Remove the grip cover with connectors R and S
shown in Fig. 3-2.
NOTE: If connectors had removed from grip cover, the
S connector goes to the top and the R con-
nector goes to the bottom. Please note when
mounting.
3. Remove the screw (6) shown in Fig. 3-2.
4. Turn the fens in the direction of the arrow as shown
in Fig. 3-3,
5. The lens can be removed by pulling it in the direction
of the arrow as shown in Fig. 3-4.
