functions
let
you
check
whether
the
camera's
circuits
are
operating
properly.
Selection
of
the
menu
and
sub-menu
1.
Open
the
function
box
cover
by
pushing
the
unlock
lever
to
the
rear.

MENU
button.
The
MENU
is
displayed
on
the
viewfinder
screen,
with
the
cursor
(white
square)
blinking
to
the
left
of
a
number.

the
SET
button.
The
sub-menu

DIAG
will
be
displayed.

the
cursor

desired

To
return
to
the
original
screen
(camera
signal),
press
the
MENU
button
twice.
Checking
the
hour
meter
and
the
memory
These
two
items
can
be
checked
on
the
SELF
DIAG
screen.
The
sub-menu
need
not
be
called
up.

HOUR
METER
Indicates
the
total
running
hours
of
the
VTR
in
steps
of
10
hours.
Use
this
as
a
reference
for
scheduling
maintenance.
e
MEMORY
Indicates
the
condition
of
the
built-in
EPROM
(program
memory):
"OK"
when
it
is
normal,
and
"NG"
if
there
is
a
failure.
If
"NG"
appears,
consult
an
authorized
JVC
Service
agent.
