External component operations
Playing an external component
For KD-DV6108/KD-DV6105:
You can connect an external component to the
LINE IN plug on the rear, and another to the
AUX (auxiliary) input jack on the control panel.
For KD-DV5108/KD-DV5105:
You can connect an external component to the
LINE IN plug on the rear, and another to the
CD changer jack on the rear using the Line
Input Adapter KS-U57 (not supplied).

Manual (separate volume).
~ For KD-DV6108/KD-DV6105:
LINE IN: For selecting the external
component connected to the
LINE IN plug.
AUX IN: For selecting the external
component connected to the
AUX input jack.
* NOT compatible with digital signals.
For KD-DV5108/KD-DV5105:
LINE IN: For selecting the external
component connected to the
LINE IN plug.
EXT IN: For selecting the external
component connected to the
CD changer jack on the rear
using KS-U57.
• If “EXT IN” does not appear, see page
36 and select the external input (EXT
IN).
Ÿ Turn on the connected component
and start playing the source.
! Adjust the volume.
⁄ Adjust the sound as you want.
