Start listening
While in Alexa idle state...
1 Press on the unit to activate Alexa.
The display shows: “LISTENING...”.
2 Communicate with Alexa via the connected microphone. (Page20)
3 During music playback in ALEXA source, you can perform the
following operations:
To On the faceplate On the remote control
Play back/pause Press the volume knob.
Press d.
Reverse skip/
Forward skip
Press S / T. Press H / I.
During music playback, press
to pause the music and activate Alexa. You
can now start to communicate with Alexa.
Basic operations
Once Alexa connection is established...
1 Press on the unit to speak with Alexa.
The display shows: “ALEXA” “LISTENING...”.
2 Communicate with Alexa via the connected microphone. (Page20)
“THINKING...” appears when Alexa is processing your voice input.
“SPEAKING...” appears while Alexa is responding to your voice input.
“ALEXA” or display information such as playing time, song title, and etc.
appears while Alexa is in idle state.
• To return to the previous source before ALEXA, press B SRC (or press
SOURCE on the remote control).
• To activate Alexa, press

• To cancel current listening state, press

• To cancel current thinking/speaking states and go to listening state, press

• Only one Alexa connection can be connected at one time.
• “DISCONNECTED” appears if the unit is disconnected from Alexa mobile
application or the Bluetooth connection is disconnected.
