SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance has been designed for household use only.
The manufacturer is not responsible for commercial usage. Improper
usage or failure to conform to the following instructions would render
the warranty invalid. Do not use the appliance for other purposes.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use by a person responsible
for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not
play with the appliance.
Warming, Kamira is a pressure appliance: do not take off the filter
holder (E) before draining the bottom chamber (Fig. 14). Lack of
the operation described above could cause severe burns to your hand.
After making the coffee, very slowly, turn the lever of the drain
valve (G) to avoid spillage of hot water from the water tank (C) and
danger of burning. During this operation keep the tank top (B) closed
and keep your hand away from it.
Do not use coffee blends that are too fine (specific coffee for the
coffee bar machine), use only the common blend coffee used for the
traditional coffee moka pot.
The appliance is equipped with a safety valve (I); occasional
splashes of steam and whistling are normal and are caused by an
overburden of coffee and the use of a non-blend moka or too much
water in the bottom chamber. Splashes of steam and whistling are
normal occurrences of the safety valve; do not damage the safety
valve to avoid the conditions described.
Always hold the appliance by the thermo handle (A).
Should there be problems with the appliance, avoid repairing the
appliance on your own and contact the service center. The manufacturer
cannot be held responsible for this type of failure.
Leaving Kamira on the stove for extended periods of time can cause
damage to the gaskets and the non-metallic parts.
TIPS FOR USE
• Use water with a low percentage of calcium,
natural water is preferred with a low mineral content.
• A possible excessive residual of water in the
boiler could have negative effects on the quality of
the espresso: bring the valve (G) to the vertical
position and empty the excessive water turn the
appliance upside down.

If the water should not drain, put Kamira on a source of heat for at least 3-4 seconds.
