      Madison KaiserAug 17, 2025
If your Kampa Accessories awning is difficult to pump up, make sure the inflation valve is fully screwed into the AirPole and that the dump (deflation) valves are closed. Check that the inflation tube isn't twisted at the valve. If it is, stop inflating and untwist it. Finally, verify that the pump is functioning correctly.

If you still suspect an air leak in your Kampa Accessories awning, close all the isolation valves and wait for a while, then check each AirPole for pressure. If any AirPole has reduced pressure, check the connecting hoses to ensure the compression fittings are tightened. If the issue persists, further investigation of the individual AirPole is needed; refer to the AirPole repairing and changing section of this manual.

Why does my Kampa Fiesta AIR Pro 280 awning appear to have a water leak?
    • N
      Nathaniel OwensAug 28, 2025
If you think your Kampa Accessories awning has a water leak, it might actually be condensation forming on the inside of the fabric. Try increasing ventilation by opening the doors. Using a waterproof groundsheet can also help prevent moisture from the ground causing condensation. The awning fabric has a high hydrostatic head, making actual leaks unlikely.

      Joe WhiteSep 3, 2025
The main seams of your Kampa Accessories awning have been factory taped to prevent leakage. If you still notice leaks at specific points, you may need to treat the remaining seams with a seam sealant, especially where the taping is damaged or has peeled away. Kampa seam sealant is available from your dealer.

Why is my Kampa Fiesta AIR Pro 280 awning leaking at the beading that attaches to the caravan?
    • J
      Jessica MartinezSep 6, 2025
When your Kampa Accessories awning has a water leak at the beading that attaches to the caravan it is because it is not possible to hot air tape the join between the awning and the caravan beading. Therefore Kampa use a special waterproof sewing thread, that swells when wet to fill the needle holes but the thread needs to become wet several times before it is totally effective. This is known as ‘weathering.’
