COSPAS-SARSAT is a global distress warning system operating 406.0 - 406.1 MHz frequency band.
Regulations regarding registration and use of PLBs vary from nation to nation. Register beacon with national authorities.
If activated by mistake, immediately contact SAR authorities and report beacon ID, time, and location.

Unfold the antenna and raise it to vertical position before activation.
Open cover, press ON button. Beacon self-tests, green LED flashes, buzzer sounds.
Place in horizontal position in a clear area with antenna vertical, view of sky unobstructed.

Lift lower cover and press TEST button to stop transmission if instructed.
