● Only operate or store the device and
battery charger in accordance with
the description and/or illustration.
● Stay alert, watch what you are doing
and use common sense when oper-
ating the device. Do not operate the
device while you are tired or under in-
fluence of drugs, alcohol or medica-
tion. A moment of inattention while
operating the device may result in se-
rious personal injury.
● Use personal protective equipment.

● Prevent unintentional starting. En-
sure the switch is in off-position be-
fore picking up, carrying or charging
the device. Carrying the device with
your fingers on the switch or while the
device is turned on invites accidents..
● Do not overreach. Keep proper foot-
ing and balance at all times. This en-
ables better control of the power tool
in unexpected situations.
● Dress properly. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelery. Keep your hair
and clothing away from moving parts.
Loose clothes, jewelery or long hair
can be caught in moving parts.
● Do not let familiarity gained from fre-
quent use of tools allow you to be-
come complacent and ignore tool
safety principles. A careless action
can cause severe injury within a frac-
tion of a second.
● Operate the device in well lit areas.
Dark areas invite accidents.
● Keep children and bystanders away
while operating the device. Distrac-
tions can cause you to lose control.
● Keep scraper disc sharp and clean.
Properly maintained scraper discs
with sharp cutting edges are less like-
ly to bind and are easier to control.
