Note: Detergent can only be added when
the appliance is being operated in low pres-
sure mode.
All washing brushes supplied by Kärcher are
designed for use with detergents.
Î Detach spray lance from spray gun.
Note: A low-pressure jet is generated if
the spray lance is not attached to the
spray gun.
Î Place the end of the detergent suction
tube in a container with Detergent solu-
tion.
1 Spray a small dose of the detergent on
the dry surface, and allow it to react
(make sure the detergent does not dry
up).
2 Wash off the loosened dirt using the
high-pressure jet.
Î Release the lever on the spray gun.
Î During breaks, use the safety catch to
secure the spray gun lever.
Î During longer breaks (more than 5 min-
utes), also turn the appliance off using
the ON/OFF switch.
Î If detergent has been added: Suspend
detergent suction tube in a container
filled with clear water, switch the appli-
ance on for around 1 minute once the
spray lance has been removed and rinse
until water runs clear.
Î Release the lever on the spray gun.
Î Switch the appliance switch to “0/OFF”.
Î Turn off tap.
Î Press the lever on the spray gun to re-
lease any remaining pressure in the sys-
tem.
Î Disconnect the appliance from the water
supply.
Î Detach spray lance from the spray gun.
Î Briefly switch the appliance on (“I/ON”),
press the spray gun lever until no further
water is discharged (approx. 1 min).
Î Switch the appliance switch to “0/OFF”.
Î Use the safety catch to secure the spray
gun lever.
Î Pull out the mains plug.
Î Roll up the power cord and loop it round
the power cord storage.
몇 Caution
Frost can destroy an incompletely emptied
unit. Store the appliance in a frost resistant
room during winter.
Î Unlock and retract transport handle.
Î Store the spray gun and the spray lances
in the accessory mount.
