Changing the brushes and felt discs
Always pull out the mains plug before changing the brushes or felt discs.
Turn the unit over and simply pull off the discs. Insert the brushes or felt discs of your
choice. Ensure that the catches on the discs are locked securely to the holding fixture.
n Operating and application instructions
Before inserting the mains plug ensure that the handle is in the vertical position. In this
position the unit is switched off.
To start the unit press the handle down until loose and then pull it towards yourself.
In order to stop the unit return the handle to the vertical position.
Cleaning and polishing the floor
Applying floor polish
Check the floor before applying the floor polish. Any grease marks should be removed
beforehand using a damp cloth. Apply a high quality wax uniformly (follow the
manufacturer’s application instructions) and distribute over the floor using the hard
brushes. You can use a mop to distribute liquid wax over the floor.
Polishing the floor to a normal shine
Allow the applied floor polish to dry and polish the floor to a normal shine using the soft
brushes.
Polishing to a mirror finish
If you want to give the floor surface a really gleaming finish, after the whole floor has
been cleaned with the brushes you can polish it with the felt discs.
The best results are achieved by pushing the polisher in a straight line. Do not push the
appliance in circles.
Storage
On completion of work you should remove the brushes or felt discs in order to avoid
damaging the bristles.
Please ensure that you move the unit on its rear wheels if you wish to convey it to a
storage location or another room; tilt the handle backwards but do not use force.
The mains connection cable may be wrapped around the hook which is attached to the
handle.
