Also, dirt particles may have jammed the suction area, so pull out the mains plug and clean it. Finally, the pump operation might have been stopped by a sensor, so verify the level sensor's position.

A blocked pressure hose could also be the culprit; pull out the mains plug and clean the pressure hose. Finally, check that the locking tap is open (arrow vertical).
