Opening Crate

Rear View Mirrors

Install rear view mirrors, ensuring proper visibility and tightening nuts to specified torque values.

Windshield (Equipped Model)

Mount the windshield using wellnuts, plastic washers, and bolts, ensuring proper alignment and torque.

Front Axle Slider (Equipped Model)

Assemble front axle sliders, collars, and washers, then install and tighten the front axle slider bolt.

Single Seat Cover (Equipped Model)

Note regarding installation of the single seat cover, referring to the Battery Service section for details.

French Label (For Canada Model)

Apply the French language label over the existing English label on the vehicle as required.

Preparation

Battery Service

Activate and install a sealed battery, including filling electrolyte, waiting period, and connecting terminals correctly.

Seats Removal

Procedure for removing and installing passenger and rider seats, involving seat locks, hooks, and projections.

Coolant

Inspect and fill the coolant level in the reserve tank, ensuring it is between the full and low level lines.

Front Brake

Check front brake fluid level, fill reservoir to upper level, and bleed air from the brake lines if necessary.

Rear Brake

Check rear brake fluid level, fill reservoir to upper level, and bleed air from the brake lines if necessary.

Clutch Lever and Cable

Inspect and adjust the clutch lever free play to the specified range (2-3 mm) for proper engagement.

Drive Chain

Check drive chain slack (25-35mm) and wheel alignment, adjusting as needed for safe riding.

Front Fork

Adjust front fork spring preload (7 3/4 turns) and rebound damping force (7 clicks) to standard settings.

Rear Shock Absorber

Adjust rear shock absorber rebound damping force (1 1/4 turns) to the standard setting position.

Tire Air Pressures

Adjust tire air pressures to specified values (Front: 250 kPa, Rear: 290 kPa) when cold.

Fuel

Safely fill the fuel tank with unleaded gasoline, ensuring the ignition is off and no sparks are present.

Engine Oil (4-stroke)

Inspect engine oil level through the inspection window, ensuring it is between the upper and lower lines.

Throttle Grip and Cable

Inspect throttle grip free play (2-3 mm) and ensure smooth operation across all steering positions.

Rear Brake Light Switch

Adjust the rear brake light switch so the light illuminates when the pedal is depressed about 6 mm.

Idle Speed Adjustment

Warm up the engine and adjust idle speed to 1050-1150 r/min using the idle adjusting screw.

Headlight Aim

Adjust headlight beam horizontally and vertically for optimal visibility and compliance with regulations.

Digital Meter

Verify and set the digital meter unit display (km/h or mph) according to local regulations.
