What to do if my Kenmore 415.16123801 Grill has low flame?
    • J
      Jordan BoyerAug 12, 2025
If you experience a sudden drop in gas flow or low flame on your Kenmore Grill, first, check for gas in the LP cylinder. If that's not the issue, the excess flow valve may have tripped. To fix this, turn off the knobs, wait 30 seconds, and then light the grill. If the flames are still low, turn off the knobs and the LP cylinder valve, disconnect the regulator, reconnect it, perform a leak test, turn on the LP cylinder valve, wait 30 seconds, and then light the grill. Another possible cause is a vapor lock at the coupling nut/LP cylinder connection. Turn off the knobs and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the coupling nut from the cylinder, reconnect it, and try again.

    • A
      Ashley MitchellAug 16, 2025
If you experience flashback (fire in the burner tubes) on your Kenmore Grill, it indicates that the burner and/or burner tubes are blocked. Turn the knobs to the OFF position and then clean the burner and/or burner tubes. Refer to the burner cleaning section in the Use and Care manual for detailed instructions.

Why do the flames keep blowing out on my Kenmore Grill?
    • M
      michael44Aug 20, 2025
If the flames on your Kenmore Grill blow out, it could be due to high or gusting winds. Turn the front of the grill to face the wind or increase the flame height. Another reason could be that you're low on LP gas, so refill the LP cylinder. It's also possible the excess flow valve tripped; in this case, refer to the troubleshooting steps for a sudden drop in gas flow.

How to fix one burner not lighting on Kenmore 415.16123801?
    • A
      Ariana ReedAug 25, 2025
If one burner on your Kenmore Grill does not light from the other burners, there may be grease buildup or food particles in the end(s) of the carryover tube(s). Clean the carry-over tube(s) with a wire brush.

Why can't I fill my Kenmore Grill LP cylinder?
    • K
      kathleenwalkerAug 27, 2025
If you are unable to fill your LP cylinder for your Kenmore Grill, it may be because some dealers have older fill nozzles with worn threads. These nozzles might not have enough "bite" to engage the valve. Try a second LP dealer.

What to do if Kenmore 415.16123801 has persistent grease fire?
    • W
      wgarciaAug 31, 2025
If you experience a persistent grease fire with your Kenmore Grill, it means grease is trapped by food buildup around the burner system. Turn the knobs to OFF and turn off the gas at the LP cylinder. Leave the lid in position and let the fire burn out. After the grill cools, remove and clean all parts.

Why no spark on my Kenmore 415.16123801 Grill but I hear noise?
    • J
      Jason MartinezSep 4, 2025
If no sparks appear at any electrodes when the control knob is turned, but noise can be heard from the spark module of your Kenmore Grill, remove and reconnect all output connections at the module and electrodes.

Why are the sparks weak on my Kenmore Grill?
    • K
      Kendra RobinsonSep 7, 2025
If sparks are present but not at all electrodes or not at full strength on your Kenmore Grill, remove and reconnect all output connections at the module and electrodes. If possible, observe the grill in a dark location and operate the ignition system to look for arcing between the output wires and the grill frame. Replace the battery with a new AA-size alkaline battery if it's weak. Use a paper towel to remove any moisture from the electrodes. Finally, replace any cracked or broken electrodes.
