DRYER CYCLE DESCRIPTIONS
This information covers several different models. Your dryer may vary from the model shown and may not have all the cycles and
features described.
AUTOMATIC CYCLES
Automatic Cycles may be used for most loads. These cycles give
the best drying in the shortest time. Drying time varies according
to the type of fabric, size of the load, and dryness setting.
Nermal/Lavar y usar (Normal/Permanent Press), or Tejide
de punto/Delicado (Knit/Delicate)
Dryness is determined by the exhaust temperature of the
dryer. When the dryness selected is reached, the dryer goes
into a cool down period of up to 10 minutes.
Sensor automatico de humedad (Auto Moisture Sensing)
Dryness is determined by an electronic sensor which "feels"
the amount of moisture in clothes as they pass over it. When
the dryness selected is reached, the dryer goes into a cool
down period of up to 10 minutes.
Automatic Drying Cycles
The Cycle Selector (Timer) Control may be set to
NORMAL (*), which is good for most fabrics. At the end of the
cycle, you may check the dryness of the load.
If the load is drier than you like, you may select a setting
closer to Menos Seco (Less Dry) the next time you dry a
similar load.
If a load is not as dry as you like, you may complete
drying using a Timed cycle. You may select a setting
closer to Mas Seco (More Dry) the next time you dry a
similar load.
SECADO CRONOMETRADO (Timed Dry)
This cycle may be used to get up to 70 or 80 minutes (depending
on the model) of heated drying time. The heating cycle is
followed by a cool down period of up to 10 minutes.
SECADO AL AIRE (Air Dry)
The Secado al aire (Air Dry) cycle may be used to get up to 20 to
30 minutes (depending on the model) of drying time in room
temperature air. This setting may be used for items such as
plastics, rubber and heat-sensitive fabrics.
ANTI-ARRUGAS (WRINKLE GUARD _ I}
WRINKLE GUARD _ I helps prevent wrinkles that form when
clothes are not removed promptly at the end of a cycle.
WRINKLE GUARD _ I tumbles the load continuously for up to
30 minutes or until dryer door is opened.
During WRINKLE GUARD ®I, the End of Cycle Signal will sound
every 5 minutes unless the signal is turned off.
For models with a Fabric/Temperature Control knob, you may use
this control to select the drying temperature that matches the
fabrics in your load. The following table lists suggested auto
moisture or timed dry settings for various loads. This is only a
guide.
