Overview

The Kenwood CO600 Series Table Top Can Opener is a versatile kitchen appliance designed to simplify the process of opening various domestic can shapes and sizes. In addition to its primary function as a can opener, the CO600 Series also incorporates a bottle opener and a knife sharpening facility, making it a multi-functional tool for everyday kitchen tasks.

Function Description:

The core function of the appliance is to open cans automatically. It features a self-starting blade that pierces the can and commences cutting when the lever is pressed down. A magnet holds the can lid in place once opened, preventing it from falling into the can or onto the countertop. The motor automatically stops once the can is fully open, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Beyond can opening, the device includes a bottle opener located at the front rim, designed for easy removal of bottle caps. For knife maintenance, a built-in knife sharpener allows users to sharpen non-serrated, preferably carbon steel knives by drawing them through designated recesses.

Important Technical Specifications:

While specific power ratings are not detailed in the provided manual, the appliance is designed for domestic use and requires connection to a mains power supply. Users are advised to ensure that the voltage of their electricity supply matches the indication on the underside of the can opener. For UK users, the mains lead wiring follows the standard colour code: BLUE for NEUTRAL and BROWN for LIVE. The appliance complies with the European Economic Community Radio Interference Directive 89/336/EEC. The model number is typically found on the underside of the unit.
