Overview

This document describes the KESD KF-21AW fan-type electrostatic eliminator, a device designed to neutralize static electricity in various environments.

Function Description

The KESD KF-21AW is a fan-type electrostatic eliminator that utilizes a corona discharge method to generate ions, effectively neutralizing static charges. It features a high-frequency AC iron fan for efficient air circulation and ion distribution. The device is equipped with an automatic ion balance system, capable of maintaining ion balance within ±10V. It also includes a self-cleaning function for the spray point, which can be set to operate automatically at intervals from 1 to 999 hours, reducing manual maintenance frequency.

The device incorporates a wireless network monitoring function, allowing real-time monitoring of static electricity abnormalities through a wireless receiver and emitter connected to a computer. This system can monitor the operation of up to 50 wireless monitoring iron fans and can also support monitoring the grounding condition of five EPA work platform equipment.

Indicator lights provide visual feedback on the device's status:

  • H.V LED (High Voltage Normal Operation Indicator Light): Illuminates when high voltage operation is normal.
  • H.V ALA (High Voltage Abnormal Indicator Light): Illuminates when discharge is abnormal or the electric circuit is faulty, accompanied by an alarm sound.
  • FAN (Fan Normal Operation Indicator Light): Illuminates when the fan is operating normally.
  • FAN ALA (Fan Abnormal Operation Indicator Light): Illuminates when the fan is stuck, not rotating, or experiencing other abnormal phenomena, accompanied by an alarm sound.

Control buttons allow users to:

  • Power Switch: Turns the device on/off. It has a memory function, so it doesn't need to be re-pressed after a power outage.
  • SET Button: Used for converting between wind speed and cleaning time settings.
  • Manual Cleaning Button: Initiates a manual cleaning cycle for the spray point. During this process, the device stops operation, and the brush performs a cleaning action.
  • Wind Volume/Cleaning Time Adjustment Buttons: Used to increase or decrease wind speed (7 gears, F.01-F.07) and set the cleaning time (H001-H999 hours).
  • LOCH/PASS/HASH: These buttons relate to the whole machine locking/unlocking function and spray point cleaning.

Safety Precautions for Maintenance:

  • Ensure the KF-21AW grounding terminal is totally grounded to avoid electric shock.
  • Do not use the device in places with fire or explosion hazards due to combustible liquids or particles.
  • Prevent water, oil, or flammable liquids from splashing onto the device to avoid electric breakdown, electric shock, or product fault.
  • When wiring on the production line, avoid wiring with power lines or high voltage wires in the same tubing to prevent disturbance.
  • Always conduct safety confirmation within the work range before powering on or operating the product.
  • If smoking, strange odors, or strong noises occur, immediately stop using the equipment to prevent fire hazards or electric shock.
  • Do not use the product beyond its specified range, as this can lead to product fault, damage, or shortened service life.
  • Handle the product carefully; avoid knocking, dropping, or hitting it, as internal damage can occur even if the external appearance is intact.

After-sales Service:

  • Warranty Period: One year from the date of sale. Faults due to component materials and process problems will be repaired free of charge (excluding quick-wear parts).
  • After Warranty Period: Products will still be repaired free of labor cost, with only the cost of parts charged.
