their suction function, they also allow complete emptying of the floats and thus their
problem-free folding.
Inflatable boat
9. Inflate the side air chambers before inflating the keel air chamber. Pump the air
chambers as follows.
NOTE: Insert the removable seat before the boat is fully inflated.
• Install the floor plates in the boat. See Installation of floor slabs.
• Unscrew the valve caps. To do this, turn the caps a quarter of a turn
counterclockwise.
• Ensure that the valve shafts are positioned in the closed position. Press the valve
stem and turn it into the closed position.
• Connect the air hose adapter to the valve.
• At one of the air valves, the air chambers begin one after the other to inflate to a
quarter of their filling capacity. Repeat this procedure to fill all air chambers
evenly until they are inflated to the recommended air pressure of 0.25 bar (3.6
psi).
4. Unscrew the valve cap from the keel air chamber. To do this, turn the cap a
quarter of a turn counterclockwise. Ensure that the valve stem is positioned in the
closed position. Connect the air hose adapter to the valve. Inflate the keel to the
recommended air pressure of 0.35 bar.
5. After inflating, tighten the valve caps tightly (turn clockwise).
NOTE: Always observe the air pressure in the air chambers. The air volume in the air
chambers expands as the internal air temperature rises. As a result, the air pressure
fluctuates depending on the water temperature and weather conditions. After the
boat has been inflated to the correct air pressure, the pressure may drop as
temperatures drop, requiring additional air. In direct sunlight or rising temperatures, the
pressure can become too high. In this case, some air must be drained from the
chamber until the recommended air pressure is reached.
PADDLING EQUIPMENT
Kesser inflatable boats are available in standard version with paddles or with oars, dolls
and a rudder seat. Install the floor plates in the boat. See Installation of floor slabs.
• Ensure that the seat is properly installed.
• If the rudders are not used, they must be secured in the clamps on the side of the
boat.
