Why does the Keys Fitness Elliptical Trainer show 'Strides/Min' or 'Speed' as 0?

      Dawn EstradaAug 7, 2025
This usually means the computer isn't receiving a signal from the sensor. Check that the sensor magnet is correctly fitted and passes in front of the sensor, and that the gap between the sensor and the magnet is 3mm or less. Also, check that all the computer plugs and sockets are correctly and firmly connected and that the computer wires are not damaged. If all checks are okay, then replace the sensor.

If you're not getting a heart rate signal or it's incorrect, start by checking that the pulse plugs are firmly inserted into the sockets. Ensure the batteries in the chest strap are installed correctly and try replacing them. Check if the receiver is properly installed and make sure the chest strap is being worn correctly. If your skin is extremely dry, moisten the contact points on your chest with water.
