4. INSTALLING THE LIGHT BULB &
GLASS SHADE
1. Attach the wire connector from the
transformer to the florescent lamp. Now attach
the lamp to the lamp holders applying even
pressure to the lamp at each lamp holder. The
lamp will pop into place. NOTE: Sometimes it
helps to open the lamp holder by lifting the
end. This enlarges the holder allowing the
lamp to pop into place easier.
2. Insert the beaded pull chain from light kit
sterm through the hole in the glass shade.
Now place the glass shade over the light kit
stem. Secure the shade with a lock washer
and metal nut (rubber side touching the
shade). (Fig. 3)
3. Now slip the beaded pull chain from the light
kit sterm into the hole of the decorative glass
cap and place the cap onto the light kit stem.
Feed the beaded pull chain from the light kit
stem through the hole in the decorative nut
and thread the decorative nut on securely. DO
NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
4. Slip the beaded pull chain from switch
housing into the chain holder on the edge of
the light plate and place the cap onto the light
kit stem.
5. Your installation is now complete. Restore
electrical power and enjoy your new ceiling fan
light kit.
