Connect the Kill-A-Watt meter to a standard electrical outlet.
Plug your electrical device into the Kill-A-Watt meter's socket.
Use measured data to reduce power consumption or upgrade appliances.
The LCD displays Volts, Current, Watts, Frequency, Power Factor, and VA, accumulating KWH and time.
Press the Volt key to view the true RMS Voltage (Volts) display.
Press the Amp key to view the true RMS output current (Amps) display.
Toggle between Watt (active power) and VA (apparent power) displays using the Watt/VA key.
Toggle between Hertz (frequency) and Power Factor (PF) displays using the HZ/PF key.
Toggle between cumulative KWH consumption and time since power application.
Displays KWH consumption and time; counters reset by removing power.
Do not exceed the maximum ratings specified on the device label.
