Visi-ow™ Water System - Using On-Board and External Sources
Using On-board (‘Tank’) water sources:
1. Activate power for water pumps 1 & 2
2. Ensure Valve Taps are in the following positions:
To use On-board water:
‘TANK’ is Inline (OPEN ) & ‘MAIN’ is Crossline (CLOSED )
3. Use water as desired
4. TURN PUMPS OFF WHEN NOT IN USE OVERNIGHT or for an extended
time. (The auto feature of the taps and pumps means that as the
vacuum reduces the pump will come on automatically with a “Brrr” at
an unexpected time!)
Using External (‘Main’) water sources:
1. Activate power for water pumps 1 & 2
2. Ensure Valve Taps are in the following positions:
To use External water:
‘MAIN’ is Inline (OPEN ) & ‘TANK’ is Crossline (CLOSED )
3. Connect hose to ‘Visi-Flow’ water inlet & place hose into water source
(if using a natural water source—ensure that a lter is used on hose
to prevent sediment being sucked into system - See ‘Hose Filler Kit’) -
hose can also be connected to mains water.
4. Use water as desired
5. TURN PUMPS OFF WHEN NOT IN USE OVERNIGHT or for an extended
time. (The auto feature of the taps and pumps means that as the
vacuum reduces the pump will come on automatically with a “Brrr” at
an unexpected time!)
CAUTION:
There are Health risks in pumping from external water sources like streams & billabongs. It is
recommended that you never drink or expose cooking utensils to water that is not potable unless
you are absolutely certain of the quality of the water. The stainless steel heat exchanger can be
ushed together with the lines but there is always a risk of bacteria in an unknown water source.
We recommend to never put unknown water into the ‘Drinking Water’ tank.
DO NOT DRINK THIS WATER UNLESS YOU ARE CERTAIN IT IS SAFE TO DO SO.
