Why won't the pilot light stay lit on my Kingsman Stove?
    • C
      Craig RivasAug 10, 2025
If the pilot light on your Kingsman Stove won't stay lit after following the lighting instructions, it could be due to a defective thermocouple. Ensure the pilot flame impinges on both the generator and thermocouple. Try cleaning and adjusting the pilot for maximum flame impingement. If it still won't hold, replace the thermocouple, tightening it by hand and then an additional 1/8 turn. If replacing the thermocouple doesn't solve the issue, the valve magnet may be defective, and the valve should be replaced.

How to fix a Kingsman Stove spark igniter that won't light?
    • E
      ewilsonAug 14, 2025
If your Kingsman Stove's spark igniter isn't lighting, it could be due to a defective or misaligned electrode at the pilot. Check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and the electrode wire is properly connected, replace the igniter. Alternatively, the igniter itself (push-button) might be defective. Try lighting the pilot with a match. If it lights, turn off the pilot and try the red button again. If it still doesn't light, ensure the gap at the electrode and pilot is between 1/8” to 1/4” for a strong spark.

Why does my Kingsman Stove have frequent pilot outages?
    • M
      Michele MillerAug 26, 2025
Frequent pilot outages on your Kingsman Stove could be due to a pilot flame that is either too low or too high, causing the pilot safety to drop out. To resolve this, clean and/or adjust the pilot flame to ensure maximum flame impingement on the generator and thermocouple.

What causes the flame to lift off the burner and go out quickly on a Kingsman FDV350?
    • J
      Jessica JohnsonAug 29, 2025
If the flame lifts off the burner and goes out in less than 30 seconds on your Kingsman Stove, the inner 4” liner may have come off the flue or termination, causing the flame to starve for oxygen. Reattach the 4” liner to the flue or termination using screws, silicone, and clamps as described in the manual.

Why does the flame lift off the burner on one side of my Kingsman FDV350 Stove?
    • X
      xwongSep 3, 2025
If the flame lifts off the burner on one side while the rest of the flame remains lit on your Kingsman Stove, it's likely due to improper installation of the firebrick, possibly leaning. Ensure the firebrick is positioned correctly against the firebox walls and secured using brick clips attached to the inner side of the firebox.

What to do if Kingsman FDV350 Stove pilot is burning but no gas to burner?
    • D
      deanbartonNov 18, 2025
If the pilot is burning on your Kingsman Stove, the valve knob and wall switch are 'ON,' but there's no gas to the burner, several issues could be at play. First, the wall switch or its wiring might be faulty. Check the switch and wires for secure connections. You can use a jumper wire across the terminals at the wall switch; if the burner ignites, the switch is defective and needs replacement. If the switch is fine, jump the wires across the wall switch wires at the valve. If the burner then comes on, the wires are faulty or have bad connections. Another possibility is that the generator isn't producing enough voltage. Test the generator with a millivolt meter at the gas valve terminals; it should read a minimum of 325 millivolts with the valve knob depressed in the pilot position and the...
