Care & use - MAMBO
If you can read this… you just bought some swinging Mambo for your stove! Hooray!
Ready, set? Before you GO…
Remove all paper and labels. Glue residues can be easily removed using acetone or plain
vegetable oil.
Wash your new cookware with a soft sponge in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
While cooking, consider this…
Never allow your cookware to boil dry! If this happens, turn off the heat immediately and do
not remove the cookware from the heat source until it has cooled down.
Temperature control is important. Thanks to the fast and efficient heat conductivity of the
materials used to create our cookware, cooking on medium or low temperatures is sufficient
and energy-efficient. Overheating may damage or discolour your cookware.
Be careful when frying with oil. When deep-frying, always use a casserole/stockpot and
never exceed half of the volume capacity to avoid the risk of burns caused by oil spatter.
Never use a lid and never overheat.
Ideally, place your cookware on a hob with the same or smaller diameter.
Always lift cookware straight up from the hob. Never drag or slide it because this can damage
both your cookware and the cooking hob.
For safety reasons, the cookware should never be left unattended when cooking.
Although all Kitchen Fun by Beka handles are designed to minimise heat transfer, oven mitts
are recommended for safety reasons.
Done?
Always let your cookware cool down before placing in water.
Although our cookware is dishwasher safe (*), repeated exposure to the dishwasher may dull
the outer finish. Wash your cookware by hand to preserve its original quality and shine.
Wash in hot, soapy water and towel dry.
(*) We recommend washing non-stick items by hand.
Never ever…
Never use chlorine-based cleaners or bleach.
Never use steel wool, sharp objects, or scouring powder to remove stubborn bits of food
because these may scratch the surface.
Never add salt to cold water.
Never preserve salty or acidic food in your cookware.
Never pour cold liquids into hot cookware.
