The KitchenFun KFSCA101 is an immersion circulator designed for sous vide cooking, allowing users to achieve perfectly cooked proteins and vegetables. It operates by preheating a water bath to a desired cooking temperature, then maintaining that temperature to gently cook food sealed in plastic bags or canning jars. Unlike traditional cooking methods, sous vide uses relatively low temperatures, preventing overcooking even if food is left in the water bath for extended periods.
Important Safeguards:
Before use, it is crucial to read the manual carefully. The unit is intended for indoor, domestic use only; commercial use voids all warranties. Children aged 8 and older, and individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, can use the appliance if supervised and instructed on safe operation and potential hazards. Children should not play with the device. The unit should never be left unattended while operating and must be disconnected from the power source when not in use. Always pull the plug body, not the power cord, to disconnect. In case of damage, stop use immediately, unplug, and contact the manufacturer or a certified repair service; unauthorized repairs void all warranties. The product does not require lubricant or lubricating oil. After operation, avoid touching the outside protective cover to prevent burns, and do not remove it while the machine is operating. Only use accessories recommended or sold by the manufacturer to avoid fire, electric shock, or injury. The unit is solely for simmering food and should not be started directly in a frozen container. The product has an IPX7 dust and water resistance rating, but the upper half should not be immersed in water to prevent electric shock. For any quality issues, contact customer service and do not attempt to dismantle the product.

Usage Features:
Cooking Preparations:
- Select a 6-50 L container suitable for food. Install the fixed bracket (7) of the KitchenFun SOUS VIDE Cooker on the side wall of the container and tighten the fixed container screw (9). Then, place the circulator into the fixed bracket and tighten the fixed machine screw (8). A metal 6-50 L pot is recommended; avoid BPAS or PVC plastic containers.
- Add water to the container until the water level is between the MIN and MAX lines. Remember that the water level will rise when food is added.
- Place packaged food in the container, ensuring enough space between packages for water circulation.
- Insert the power plug into a socket.
- After setup, follow the steps below to begin cooking.
Using the Sous Vide Cooker (Setting Up Steps and Illustrations):
- ON-OFF key: In normal state, press to start the machine; press again to stop. In setting mode, a single click stores parameters. Red light indicates operation; blue light indicates standby.
- C/F key: Press once to switch the temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
- SETTING key: Press once to enter temperature-setting mode, using '+' and '-' keys to set a constant cooking temperature. Press twice to enter time-setting mode, using '+' and '-' keys to set cooking time.
- '+' and '-' keys: Used with the setting key to adjust temperature or cooking time. Each press of '+' adds 0.1°C (°F) or 1 minute; each press of '-' deducts 0.1°C (°F) or 1 minute. Holding these keys for 1 second enables continuous increase or decrease. During operation, these keys can directly adjust the current temperature, but these adjustments will not be stored.
- Display screen: Defaults to current actual temperature in Celsius. After pressing the setting key, it switches between temperature and time settings. Press C/F to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. During use, press the setting key to check remaining cooking time.
- Countdown display light bar: In standby, all 10 LED lights are lit. After 1 minute of inactivity in standby, all LEDs turn off. In operating mode, before the water reaches the set temperature, LEDs display cooking progress sequentially. Once the set temperature is reached, the uppermost light illuminates. Every 10% of cooking time passed, the previous LED turns off, and the next LED flashes. When the set cooking time is reached, the machine automatically stops and enters standby; in alarm mode, all 10 LEDs flash simultaneously.
Maintenance Features:
Care and Cleaning:
After normal use, food particles or minerals can form sediment on the protective cover. Immediate cleaning after use is recommended.
- Turn off power, unplug, and remove the circulator from the water after it has cooled.
- Loosen the fixed machine screw (8).
- Remove the outside protective cover (10) by following the arrow direction.
- Directly wash the internal heating tube and sensor under the tap.
- If needed, add a drop of dishwashing liquid and gently wash with a sponge or brush.
- The machine is IPX7 waterproof; the upper part can be cleaned under the tap, but prolonged immersion in water is not recommended.
Descaling:
After prolonged use, calcium may precipitate in the heating tube. To clean, add descaling agent to the water, set the water temperature to 40-50°C (104-122°F), and run the Sous Vide for 10 minutes. After descaling, unplug and clean as described above.
Warning: Do not add food during cleaning. Ensure the Sous Vide is cleaned and descaled water is replaced before cooking again.
Storage:
After use, clean and dry the machine with a cloth or paper towel. Store it in the provided storage bag in a dry, well-ventilated environment at normal temperature. Avoid high humidity or high temperatures.
