Overview

The Kiwi KMC 6955 is a Multi Function Bread Maker designed for household use, offering a variety of programs to bake different types of bread and other food items. It comes with a user-friendly control panel and several features to ensure ease of use and maintenance.

Function Description

The bread maker offers 19 pre-set programs, allowing users to bake a wide range of breads and prepare other dishes:

  • P1 Basic Bread: Suitable for white and mixed breads, primarily containing wheat or rye flour. Allows adjustment of crust color.
  • P2 French Bread: For light breads made from fine flour, typically with a crispy crust. Not suitable for recipes requiring butter, margarine, or milk.
  • P3 Sweet Bread: For breads with additives like fruit juices, grated coconut, raisins, dried fruits, chocolate, or added sugar. Produces a light and airy bread due to a long rise phase.
  • P4 Ultra-fast Bread: Offers quick kneading, rising, and baking. The resulting bread is coarser than other menu options.
  • P5 Quick Bread: Shorter kneading, rising, and baking time compared to basic bread, but longer than ultra-fast bread. Produces a denser bread texture.
  • P6 Cake: Kneading, rising, and baking with soda or baking powder. Mixes ingredients and bakes for a preset time.
  • P7 Dessert: Only requires kneading and rising for baking desserts.
  • P8 Rice Bread: For making bread by mixing cooked rice with flour in a 1:1 ratio.
  • P9 Corn Bread: For making bread by mixing corn flour.
  • P10 Gluten-free Bread: For gluten-free flours and baking mixes. Gluten-free flours require longer liquid absorption and have different rising properties.
  • P11 Gruel: For kneading and stewing coarse grains to make oatmeal, e.g., fruit oatmeal.
  • P12 Pilaf: For mixing and heating to make pilaf.
  • P13 Mix: For mixing flour and liquids thoroughly.
  • P14 Dough: For preparing dough for buns, pizza, or flatbreads. No baking is involved in this program.
  • P15 Knead: Allows the user to set the kneading time.
  • P16 Vinegar: For preparing vinegar from grapes, chickpeas, bulgur, honey, and water. A pinch of rock salt is required.
  • P17 Yogurt: For mixing milk and yeast culture and maturing to make yogurt.
  • P18 Jam: Ideal for making jam/marmalade from fresh fruits or oranges. Do not increase the quantity or allow the recipe to boil over into the baking chamber.
  • P19 Bake: For additional baking of very light or unbaked breads. No kneading or resting in this program.
