If the pump is running hot, consider repairing or replacing it, or using fluid with the correct viscosity. If the pump RPM is too low or the engine capacity is insufficient, repair the defect. For leakage from the pressure port to the return line, adjust the pressure setting; clean, assess damage, and repair or replace components; find any faulty components and adjust, clean, repair, or replace them; or repair or replace any damaged parts.

Why is there no oil supply and unusual noise from my KLEMM KR 806-2 pump?

  If you observe no oil supply and hear unusual noise characteristics from the KLEMM Drill pump, it might be due to cavitation or fluid freezing. Fully open the ball-valve, heat the fluid to the recommended temperature, or repair/replace tubes or hoses to resolve cavitation. For fluid freezing, replenish to the right level, replace with the correct fluid, tighten or replace fittings, or replace the hose or tube. Mechanical vibrations can be addressed by realigning or tightening screws and re-tightening connections. If the pump or engine/motor is the issue, consider repairing or replacing them. Also, check if the pump is rotating in the wrong direction and change connections if necessary.

  If the fluid temperature is too high in your KLEMM Drill, it could be due to hydraulic fluid being pumped under pressure through a pressure limiting or safety valve to the tank. Clean, repair, and replace parts as needed, or adjust the setting. Inadequate cooling may also be the cause; repair or clean the cooling system. If fluid circulation is too fast, replenish the fluid to the required level.

  If you're experiencing pressure or flow fluctuations in your KLEMM Drill, it could be due to knocking of pressure limiting or safety valves, in which case you should repair or replace them. Alternatively, valves may be sticking. If this is the case, drain the fluid, clean the tank and system, and refill with new fluid. Air pockets in the system can also cause irregular or jerky movements. Bleed the system, and refer to the start-up instructions for further guidance.

How to fix a control valve that is not working correctly on my KLEMM Drill?

  If the control valve on your KLEMM Drill is not working correctly, it may be due to spool jamming. Try dismantling the spool and cleaning the valve. You can also cool the fluid to approximately 50°C (135°F). If this doesn't work, consider replacing the magnet, checking the pilot voltage, or checking the pilot pressure.
