there is a risk of scalding.

K450 Hot Tank Draining Procedure

Isolate Power and Water Supply

Isolate power by switching off mains plug or internal plug. Turn off water supply at mains.

Drain Hose Preparation

Remove the drain hose from its 'P' clip and pull it down from under the coin mechanism.

Clamp and Plug Handling

Ensure the drain hose clamp is in the closed position before removing the drain plug.

Drain Hot Water

Place a bucket in position and remove the drain plug from the end of the hose.

Open Drain Hose Clamp

Open the clamp by pushing down on the bottom part to release it.

Secure Drain Hose After Draining

Close the clamp, push the plug back into the hose top, feed hose up, and re-attach clip.

Recommissioning the Machine

Reconnect and Heat Up

Reconnect water and power supply, then allow machine to fill and heat tank for approx. 15 mins.

Test Vending Functionality

Test vend 2 to 4 drinks to ensure the machine is operational after recommissioning.

Cold Drink Option Procedures

For machines with cold drinks, place on free vend and vend cold drinks to refresh chiller.

Clean Machine Exterior

Wipe down the front of the machine with anti-bacterial wipes, including buttons and coin insert.
