    • C
      Christy WeaverJul 31, 2025
Bad cuts in your Klutch Saw can occur due to several reasons. It may be caused by excessive feed pressure, which requires a reduction in speed or feed. Other potential causes include improperly adjusted guide bearings (adjust the bearings), inadequate blade tension (adjust the blade tension), a dull blade (replace the blade), incorrect speed (adjust the speed), blade guide spaced out too much (adjust guide bearings), or a loose blade guide assembly (tighten the assembly).

What to do if Klutch 49464 blade breaks excessively?
    • T
      Tracey HenryAug 4, 2025
Excessive blade breakage in your Klutch Saw can be attributed to several factors. Ensure the material is securely clamped in the vise. The speed or feed might be incorrect, requiring adjustment. The blade teeth spacing could be too large, necessitating replacement with a smaller teeth spacing blade. If the material is too coarse, use a blade of slow speed and small teeth spacing. Adjust blade tension so the blade does not slip on the wheel. Make sure that teeth are not in contact with material before saw is started, place blade correctly in relation with workpiece. If the blade rubs on wheel flange, adjust wheel alignment. Also, check for misaligned guide bearings and adjust them. Finally, cracking at weld requires to weld again.

What to do if Klutch Saw motor running too hot?
    • P
      pamelastokesAug 13, 2025
If the motor of your Klutch Saw is running too hot, it might be due to excessive blade tension. Reduce the pressure by decreasing the spring tension on the side of the saw. Another cause could be high drive belt tension, decrease blade tension by adjusting blade tension. Also, the cut may be binding the blade, in this case replace the blade.
