6. Installing or Removing the Bit
To install bit holder and bits:
a. Remove the battery pack from tool.
b. Pull the stop sleeve (A) to remove it from the
tool.
c. With one hand, push the bit sleeve (B) back
and hold it in place.
d. With the other hand, insert the magnetic bit
holder (G) into the hexagonal hole in the bit
retainer.
e. Release the sleeve and check that it returns to
its original position.
f. Push the bit (H) rmly into the magnetic bit
holder.
g. Reattach the stop sleeve to the tool. Push it
until it snaps into place.
h. Hand-tighten the handle by turning the handle clockwise.
NOTE: When using a collated attachment, do not reattach the sleeve.
To remove bits and bit holder:
a. Remove the battery pack from tool.
b. Pull the stop sleeve (A) to remove it from the tool.
c. Pull the bit (H) from the bit holder (G) to remove it.
d. Push the bit sleeve (B) back of the tool and hold it in place.
e. Remove the bit holder from the hexagonal hole in the bit retainer.
7. Depth Adjustment
The depth can be adjusted by turning the stop
sleeve (A). Begin each new job by driving several
test screws in scrap material to check and adjust
the depth setting. With the screwgun held in the
normal operating position, pointing to you.
a. Turn in the stop sleeve (A) clockwise for less
depth and counterclockwise for more depth.
b. Test drive a screw in scrap material until you
obtain the desired depth.
