4. To install battery
To remove battery
• Raise the battery cover.
• Press the battery release button (O) on the mower. This will cause the battery to raise out of the
tool slightly.
• Remove battery from the mower.

WARNING: Always remove battery from your tool
when you are assembling parts, making adjustments,
cleaning, or when not in use. Removing battery will
prevent accidental starting that could cause serious
personal injury.
WARNING: Make sure the latch on top of the battery with battery release button snaps in place
and the battery is fully seated and secure in the mower’s battery port before beginning operation.
Failure to securely seat the battery could cause the battery to fall out, resulting in serious
personal injury.
• Raise the battery cover (J).
• Place the battery in the mower.
• Align raised ribs on battery with grooves in the
mower’s battery port.
• Push down into battery compartment until the battery
clicks into place.
• Lower the battery cover.
